QRC Is a non-profit organization fiscally sponsored by New Sun Rising. We aim to strengthen and empower the LGBTQIA+ community of Millvale and the Greater Pittsburgh area, especially those who are neurodivergent, trans, intersex and/or non-binary, through community-engagement, mutual aid, and the celebration of gender exploration.
We work with Harold’s Haunt, Quiet Retreat Therapy, Maude’s Paperwing Gallery, and more Millvale small businesses to offer a variety of programs that bring a sense of belonging and address issues with isolation, homophobia, non-acceptance, and internalized confusion.
