QRC Is a non-profit organization fiscally sponsored by New Sun Rising. We aim to strengthen and empower the LGBTQIA+ community of Millvale and the Greater Pittsburgh area, especially those who are neurodivergent, trans, intersex and/or non-binary, through community-engagement, mutual aid, and the celebration of gender exploration.
We work with Harold’s Haunt and Maude’s Paperwing Gallery to offer a variety of programs to provide spaces that bring a sense of belonging and address issues with isolation, homophobia, non-acceptance, and internalized confusion.

Athena’s the heart and soul behind the operation! QRC wouldn’t be here without their dedication to creating spaces and programs for their local community and beyond.
Blake – Executive Director

Blake makes “Big Picture” ideas a reality for programs and events! They make sure QRC has the funding we need to make the fun stuff happen!
Jaye – Digital Systems Administrator

They work on all our back-end techy stuff to make sure our website, Discord, and resource guides are up and running!

Kim works out the little details to make events happen! He makes sure everyone has what they need to provide the best experience for the community.

Jamie is our people person! They work with volunteers and program reps to make sure everyone knows the ins and outs of QRC and has the support they need to make the organization flow!
